Premier Dies Corporation is the exclusive source for dies that utilize a flow distribution channel designed to spread polymer material uniformly regardless of the shape of the viscosity flow curve for a material.  This is achieved by creating a flow channel utilizing a slit cross-section manifold and pre-land that has a constant shear rate design.  This patent pending development yields the following characteristics:Constant Shear Dies

  • Uniform spreading of any material
  • Uniform residence time for all material exiting the die lips

  • A die with this feature can process virtually any polymer material uniformly
